Been there. Burned that. Left the house smelling like smoke for three days afterwards. That, in spite of the huge powerful fans the firefighters brought in to help blow the smell out of the house. Eh, not so much. :)

Just a hint, it's generally a good idea to remove the food BEFORE the fire starts. Unless, of course, you're cooking hibachi style. Then fire is just part of the show.

Hey Val,
Does hubby know this Emeril guy is moving in awfully close to you there? Anyhow, next time the stove catches fire, try making smores before it burns out. :)
