We're back! And just like I said....it was too short.
As you can see.....no wifi signals. Nothing. Nada. I kept hitting refresh on my radar and not even a very weak signal. Damn, those mountain people are cheap.
The kids had a great time though. They adore spending time with my Parents....although at times I think they have conditions on that love....like driving the golf cart or taking them out for ice cream. But hey, can't win them all, right?
So, here are a few shots from this weekend. I took the first couple while driving the golf cart down to the lake. Thought I would give you a birds eye view....and if I had one of those cameras that attached to my head....I would have totally used it....just in case anyone out there wants to send me one to try.
Now, let's recap our weekend, shall we..........
The first night "the mountains were talking to the clouds" which totally freaks out a certain little girl who hides under the blankets cause it's safe there. (thunder)
Second guess a trip to the mountains when your child has a slight phobia of any bug with wings....they are quite plentiful up there.
Going for a ride in the "gull kite" is one of the best things that could ever happen to a kid. (golf cart)
Ice Cream is great....but not as wonderful as riding on a giant giraffe that goes back and forth in the same motion for one solid minute. That ride is totally worth throwing the rest of the cone away for.
When your child asks if he/she is wearing under ware from the backseat, pull over, cause it can never be good. If you happen to answer yes and then ask why....be prepared...a car seat can hold a very good amount of pee. Just watch your shoes when removing it from the car.
With that said, all in all, we had a blast!

I'm laughing so hard right now. I added my commet for THE POOPIE PATROL...to yours. lmbo

That looks like a great time for the family. There is a huge water slide being sold at sporting stores that looks like a blast. Adults even love it. My hairdresser has one and was vtelling me all positive stuff about it. They are on their second year of using it.

I loved Burgh Baby's comment. Aside from that incident, it really does sound like a great time. Your pictures here are great! You don't need a camera that mounts on your head. You did great with the camera you had and besides, that would just look funny. :)

Sounds like a great vacation! It wouldn't be a road trip without someone ending (or starting) the experience by wetting their pants though. The ironic thing is... once they get older and grow out of that stage... we get older and grow into that stage. LOL!
Seriously though... cutest. pics. evah.
I tagged you on my blog! :o)

It takes some serious positive thinking to find the good in a vacation that ends with a back seat full of pee!

Oh man...the last paragraph...I won't ask too many questions, but I can only imagine. I, personally, like how Clark Griswold puts it:
"Well I'll tell you something. This is no longer a vacation. It's a quest. It's a quest for fun. I'm gonna have fun and you're gonna have fun. We're all gonna have so much f*@#$%* fun we'll need plastic surgery to remove our gd smiles. You'll be whistling 'Zip-A-Dee Doo-Dah' out of your assholes!
I actually almost started crying from laughing at quotes from all of his movies! http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0085995/quotes
