It's Monday....and when I woke up this morning, I was none to happy that I couldn't lounge around on the deck in my pj's until noon. Back to work, back to the grind.
We had a good weekend....alls well. Seems as if the sickness has left the building which I am extremely grateful for. Other than that, not much to tell. Just a relaxing time for sure. So I leave you with a kid moment that really got a rise this weekend.
On Saturday, we ran down to the grocery store to pick up a few things. BEFORE we even went in, Big Daddy went over the rules. No running, pushing, crying, complaining, no taking things off the shelf, you will stay right with us, J Boy you will sit in the cart and for the finale......you will BEHAVE!
"Okay, Daddy!" J Girl piped in as she jumped out of the van, "I'm being-have right?"
Of course....here is a shot of the infamous Barbie Jeep. Now, before you even ask.....yes, I did ride it, but no, there will never be any picture of it. Believe me, it was not the most flattering position.
And here's one of the Dam we visited......the view was breath-taking. Mostly because we were really high up in some rugged territory.....and we all know Big Daddy is not the best driver around when it comes to these type of conditions. Let's just say poor J Girl woke up when we reached the top and began screaming for him NOT to drive into the water!
See that guardrail? Well, lets just say the Army Corps of Engineers had Big Daddy in mind when they erected that!

Awww! A Barbie Jeep! I love Barbie Jeeps! I wanted one myself when I was just a wee tot!
Now... did little brother want a turn driving it and did he get one?

The Barbie jeep is cool! I'd so be "borrowing" it from my kiddo. Oh wait...I kind of already do that with his baby peaches. That's like the best ice cream topping. Never mind the "look" he gives me when he sees mama stealing his food...or the look that Hubby gives me.
And I'd be laughing so hard at J-girl screaming not to drive off the edge!! Of course, that would be laughing while double checking my seat belt, hanging on to the arm rest, locking the doors (again), and watching the stripes in the middle of the road to make sure we weren't more than 2 inches from them.

I've been quite delinquent myself in responding here but I think I'm all caught up on reading now. That jeep picture is adorable. How nice they (seem) to play together.
We're beginning to experience a bit of what you've described in the past. Only not quite as bad. We didn't call 911 like you did. But that may have been because we recognized the symptoms from reading about them here first. :)
