What a great way.....
.....to spend your 3rd Birthday!
With Mom-Mom and Pop at the zoo.....
Then to a shrimp basket dinner......
Batman was there? Giving Chachi a scare!
And ending with the family singing Happy Birthday with your very own tiny cake!
What a way to spend your Birthday!
Little Boy
3 years ago, I was anxiously awaiting your arrival.
I can remember the doctor's words ringing in my ears as he moved the wand over my very pregnant belly and declared it was time, just over three weeks early.
The C-section was scheduled, and in two days we would see that beautiful face, and complete our family.
I can remember the nurse holding you up as I listened to your cries.
Oh, he's tiny they exclaimed, but strong, as they whisked him away to the warming bed.
I can remember that exact moment when they wheeled you into my room and placed you in my arms. How perfect you were in every tiny way.
Oh, but fast you grew.
I can remember your first birthday. How I prayed you would soon walk.
And on your second birthday.....
.....I prayed you would slow down.
Three years after that moment I first looked into your eyes, I can definitely say......
....that smile will always melt my heart.
And you will forever be my little boy.
Happy 3rd Birthday Stink!
