Nada. Zip. Not much going on around here. Same old, same old.
What you'll find here is just a jumbled up post of nothing.
It was fairly warm today. Warm enough that the kids could get outside without wearing four layers, hats, gloves, scarves and the heaviest jackets made while allowing them some movement.
So, they chose to ride their bikes. Harmless enough one would think. Only, we didn't take into consideration that the leftover snow was melting creating huge puddles on the sidewalks.
Now, their goes Stink. Moving along as fast as his little legs could pump the tricycle pedals. At a good rate of speed too. Until. His wheels turned into a patch of grass. Right next to a giant puddle. Of melted ice. It seemed to happen in slow motion. I watched as he began to tip. Towards the puddle. He put his hands down to catch his fall. Only, it didn't work. He was soaked. In ice water. Freezing.
Needless to say, we cut the ride short and headed home to a nice warm bath and dry clothes.
So much for getting outside for a little fresh air.
Other than that, I got nothing. The kids haven't given me much to go on, which is good in a way. Trucker mouth has been clean and Stink is, well, I haven't had to peal him off the ceiling lately.
Now, I will leave you will a little Stink-ism.
As we all know, I call the little boy Stink. That has been his nickname since he was a wee thing. But lately, he has been correcting me. Seems as if he enjoys a new name, one he demands of me whenever I happen to call him Stink.
"No, Mommy. I Punkin' Pie!" he says.
So "Punkin Pie" it is.
Update on Comparisons: The first pic is Chachi at about 4 weeks or so. The second is Stink the day after he was born and the third is me! Since no one got it right (out of the two people who commented! Wow, traffic around here is really light lately, huh!) I am going to award the Juice to Lora from Jakezilla. Seems as if she may need it! Just drop me an email Lora with your details!
