You like that term? It always cracked me up when my grandparents called it that.
Anyway, here are a couple things the "boob-tube" has shown us tonight..........
First off....J Boy and I were laying down watching a show....if you must know, it was Everybody Loves Raymond.....we are addicted, okay. So, a commercial pops on for Wendy's. They were showing a burger when suddenly J Boy pipes up, "Yum, bacon!"
"You like bacon?" I asked him.
"Uh-huh. And chicken!"
Ah, the boy has got a good eye for what's tasty.
Later on, yea the television was STILL on.....it was a slightly boring evening.....and a preview of tonight's news broadcast came across:
"See why wild boars are terrorizing a local neighborhood, tonight at ten."
Uh-huh. Wild boars. What, are they carrying machine guns? HOW can wild boars TERRORIZE a local neighborhood? And local to who? Texans? Cause last time I checked, wild boars were not indigenous to our area. Unless evolution has caused them to sprout wings and fly north for the winter.
Ha! Get it......when pigs fly!
