Last week I never got a chance to post a Tuesday Toot...so here is two...one for each kid!
J Girl is a handful...I should leave it at that, but you asked for it!
She is 3 going on 30! She has a mind (and mouth) of her own, and believe me, she will let you know. She is not shy, although at times it may take her a few minutes to warm up to strangers. Perfect example...trick or treating last year....she would walk right up to a house (she didn't need Mommy :(
and say "Trick or Treat" then promptly ask for a particular candy that she wanted. If they didn't have that type, she would TELL them they needed to go to the grocery store and get it! Can you believe it...now she does have manners, so she would also say please....but how embarrassing! I tried to wait for other parents to walk up to the houses so my neighbors would think she was theirs! Lucky for her she is so darn cute or she would have been out on the street a long time ago.
Another funny thing....whenever she is at the doctor's office and he walks into the examine room she will ask, "Are you going to shot me?" I swear, sometimes they really don't know what to say! I think she watched one too many COPS episodes.
Her favorite phrase is "Stop it or I am going to FREAK OUT!" Now, I have explained to her that her choice of words are not appropriate, so she has appeased me by just whispering it!
But on a good note, she is very sweet....quick to give out hugs and kisses. She loves music and is always bugging Poppi to play the guitar. And my favorite....as J Boy gets ready for bed, she will pick him up and swing him around. She will kiss his head and wait by his crib to say "Good Night Baby Boy".
Now J Boy......oh god, where to start. He is a Momma's boy. He loves to cuddle and will kiss your face until you say enough. He is also not shy, but takes longer than J Girl to warm up...unless you are a guy, then he is right there waiting for high fives and man stuff! He takes everything literally, and at this moment, thinks the Guinea Pigs name is "Poop" because, well, she poops a lot! He is into cars, balls and now boats! Although lately, he loves to push around the baby doll in the stroller! (Hey...he is touch with his feminine side!) If I had to use one word for his moods right now I would say "Relentless". This boy just won't let anything go. If he sees a boat, he will tell you. (I must add, there doesn't actually have to be a boat there, just water....which he thinks should have a boat!) If you ignore him, he gets louder. If you still ignore him, he will say "Mommy" about 50 times at a scream until you answer him, "Yes, boat." But that's not good enough, in about 30 seconds he will say it again, "See, boat?"
At times, J Girl has screamed, "Yes, boat...I see it...now beeeeee quiettttt!"
His favorite words at the moment, besides boat, are mine and no. So you can see that he is not easy to get along with at the moment!
His saving grace...he LOVES to sleep! When its bedtime (7pm) he will RUN to his room. He turns his own light off and music box on. And when I lay him down, he asks for "Lucy" (a stuffed mallard duck, but her name is Lucy Goosey....my kids are confused). He will say, "Ah, theres Lucy...Mommy, see Lucy?" Then I run...because the kid will ask me "See Lucy?" about 100 times if I don't!
edited: notice the matching pj's. This was by request of J Girl...she demanded that they have matching pj's....every night....you can imagine how I wash clothes!
